Released: April 2026

  • Table Floor View: Visual floor plan to manage table configurations, areas, and seating capacity in one screen. Drag-and-drop layout with real-time availability.
  • Biometric Login: Secure login with Face ID or Touch ID on supported iOS devices. Quick and convenient access for staff.
  • Closure Status: Mark your business as closed directly from booking and settings screens. Customers see closure information in the booking widget.
  • Widget Improvements: Visual refinements in the booking widget, including better iframe display (transparent card backgrounds) and a confirmation step on the cancellation page.
  • Schedule Enhancements: Owner-only edit mode for staff schedules, improved week navigation, and discard changes confirmation dialog.
  • SMTP Timezone: Timezone information added to SMTP settings for accurate email scheduling.
  • General Fixes: Reliability improvements, bug fixes, and minor UI corrections.

  • Analytics feedback data: Analytics page now includes feedback information.
  • Date picker + exception dates updated: Exception date input and related dashboard flows were updated.
  • Closure status in settings: Booking and settings screens now include closure status information.
  • Onboarding progress is remembered: Your setup progress is stored more reliably, so you can continue where you left off.
  • Booking & dashboard UI refresh: Booking cards and dashboard sections were redesigned (including page layout and Today card updates).
  • Settings UX simplified: Settings navigation was simplified and key info was moved to the relevant pages.
  • Login using email: Login now uses email to sign in more consistently.
  • Widget and integration settings updated: Widget/integration related settings were refreshed for clearer control.
  • Shift scheduling fixes: Staff schedule and shift flows were corrected for smoother use.
  • General error fixes: General reliability improvements and minor UI corrections were included.

Released: November 2025

  • Setup Wizard: A guided onboarding flow that walks new users through essential setup steps. Upload your logo, set business hours, configure booking rules, enable notifications, and share your booking link — all in one streamlined flow. The wizard appears after registration and can be accessed anytime from the dashboard.

  • Simplified Subscription Flow: The paywall has been removed. You can now browse and upgrade plans without interruption.

  • Staff Schedule (Rota): A new module for defining staff rotas and weekly shifts. Add staff with name, role, and department; assign shifts per day (Mon–Sun) with start/end times; mark off days; and share the schedule via WhatsApp, email, or copy. Access from MenuStaff Schedule.

  • Setup Progress Saved: Your wizard progress is saved and remembered across devices. Pick up where you left off anytime.

  • Subscription Plans: Plans and features are loaded from your account. Easier to see what’s included and upgrade when you need more.

  • Weather Information: Weather loads faster and works more reliably when planning bookings.

  • Refunds & Deposits: Clearer visual indicators for refunds and deposits in your booking list. See at a glance which bookings have deposits or refunds.

  • All-in-One Integrations: Widget appearance (colours, language) and integration options (booking link, QR code, embed code) are now in one place: SettingsIntegrations. No need to switch between tabs.


Released: September 2025

  • Analytics Dashboard: Understand your business better with detailed insights about your bookings. See booking patterns, track statistics, and view weekly reports to make smarter decisions about your business hours and capacity.

  • PayPal Payments: Your customers can now pay using PayPal in addition to credit cards. We’ve also added support for multiple currencies, making it easier for international customers to book with you.

  • Customer Feedback: Request feedback from your customers after their bookings. This helps you understand customer satisfaction and improve your service. Feedback requests are sent via email.

  • Google Reviews: Make it easier for satisfied customers to leave reviews. We’ve added a direct link to your Google Business profile, helping you build your online reputation and attract more customers.

  • Cleaner Booking List: Hide past bookings from your main view to focus on upcoming reservations. Your booking history is still accessible when you need it, but your dashboard stays clean and organized.

  • Data Protection: Your booking data is safely stored in the mobile app. Your important information is protected, so you can access your customer data and booking history whenever you need it.

  • Important Messages: Display important information or announcements to your customers directly in the booking widget. Perfect for special offers, holiday hours, or important notices.

  • Update Notifications: Get notified when new features are available in the mobile app. You’ll always have the latest improvements.

  • Login Status: See at a glance whether you’re logged in or not, making it easier to manage your account security.

  • Faster Booking Widget: Your booking widget now loads faster and works more smoothly. Changes you make appear immediately for your customers.

  • Better Access Control: Staff members can no longer access the booking widget settings, keeping your configuration secure while still allowing them to manage bookings.

  • Improved Navigation: We’ve redesigned the menu structure to make it easier to find what you need. Everything is better organized and more intuitive.

  • Better First Experience: New users will see an improved onboarding experience with updated visuals and clearer guidance. You’ll learn how to use BeSeat faster and more easily.

  • Enhanced Email Templates: Your booking confirmation and reminder emails now include feedback requests, helping you gather customer insights.

  • More Detailed Reports: Get deeper insights into your business with improved reporting. See more detailed information about your bookings, revenue, and customer patterns.

  • International Weather: Weather information now works better for businesses outside the UK, helping you plan for weather-related booking changes.
