Account Settings

Manage your company profile information, contact details, address, and account settings. This is where you configure how your business appears to customers and manage your account.

  1. Log in to your BeSeat account
  2. Navigate to SettingsAccount
  3. Update your company information
  4. Click Save Changes to save your updates

Note: Only account owners and administrators can access account settings. Staff members do not have permission to view or modify these settings.

  • Company Name - Your business name as it appears to customers (required)
  • Company Email - Your business email address for customer communications (required, must be a valid email format)
  • Company Telephone - Your business phone number (required)
  • Logo URL - A direct link to your company logo image. Must be a PNG or JPG image hosted over HTTP or HTTPS (e.g., https://example.com/logo.png)

Your logo will appear in your booking widget and email templates, helping customers recognize your brand.

Provide your complete business address so customers know where to find you:

  • Address Line 1 - Your street address (e.g., “123 Main Street”)
  • Address Line 2 - Additional address details (e.g., “Suite 100”, “Building B”) - optional
  • City - Your city
  • State - Your state or province
  • Postcode - Your postal or zip code
  • Country - Select your country from the dropdown menu

This information helps customers find your location and may be displayed in your booking widget.

Add a description of your business that tells customers what you offer. This helps customers understand your services and can improve your online presence. Keep it concise and informative.

After making any changes to your account settings:

  1. Review your updates to ensure everything is correct
  2. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the form
  3. You’ll see a success message confirming your changes have been saved

Tip: If you haven’t made any changes, you’ll see an info message indicating there are no changes to save.

If you need to permanently delete your BeSeat account:

  1. Scroll to the Account Management section at the bottom of the page
  2. Click the Delete Account button in the “Danger Zone”
  3. Read the warning message carefully - this action cannot be undone
  4. Type DELETE in the confirmation field
  5. Click Delete Account to confirm

Warning: Deleting your account will permanently remove:

  • All company information and settings
  • All bookings and reservations
  • All user accounts and permissions
  • All uploaded content and files

This action cannot be undone. Make sure you have exported any data you need before deleting your account.

After deletion, you will be automatically logged out and redirected to the homepage.

  • Keep Information Updated: Regularly review and update your company information to ensure customers have accurate details
  • Professional Logo: Use a high-quality logo image (PNG or JPG) hosted on a reliable server for best results
  • Complete Address: Provide your full address to help customers find your location easily
  • Clear Description: Write a clear, concise business description that helps customers understand what you offer
  • Backup Before Deletion: If you’re considering deleting your account, export your data first as a backup

If your logo isn’t showing:

  • Ensure the URL is a direct link to an image file (ends with .png, .jpg, or .jpeg)
  • Verify the image is hosted over HTTP or HTTPS (not a local file path)
  • Check that the image URL is publicly accessible
  • Make sure the image file exists and isn’t corrupted

If your changes aren’t saving:

  • Check that all required fields are filled in correctly
  • Verify your email address is in the correct format
  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection
  • Try refreshing the page and making the changes again

If you see an “Unauthorized” message:

  • Only account owners and administrators can access account settings
  • Staff members do not have permission to view or modify these settings
  • Contact your account owner if you need to update company information
